At the age of twelve, a boy still, I fell in love with photography.

 

My first camera, a gift from my grandfather, working in a darkroom experimenting with forms and shapes, light and shade, I still remember it all vividly.

 

This passion for photography has never left me.

 

Sportsphoto’s, photo’s of popgroups and bands, taking photo’s for friends and family, it was a search, an adventure, my adventure.

I was especially drawn to photographing people, so I did. I did lots and lots of portraitseries.

Adressing people in the street, women of course, asking them “ Would you please pose for me?”

Some said Yes! and so the first nude series could also be made.

 

Just in my fifties I owned my first small studio. I became a member of a club photographers and my contacts with other photographers increased and intensified.

More and more people became interested in my work.

 

With digital photography and photoshop I discovered new possibilities. Exploring a wider range my work develloped from photo to Image Art.

 

My first exposition, my first work sold, more interest in my work, more orders and more expositions. A bigger and now profesionally equipped studio, a website that is being visited frequently.
